As part of our "Varieties in Focus" series, this course allows you to deep-dive into the Sauvignon blanc and Semillon blends of the Margaret River region. These two varieties sit on either side of the Chardonnay throne and offer a myriad of wine styles, from fruit forward to fumé.
This 2-hour course offers information on key clones, tips on how these varieties are managed in the vineyard and the range of techniques used in the winery to craft the broad appeal of this popular blend. At the end of the lesson, we'll be tasting some delicious examples from around the region.
