Who are the Producers of Margaret River?

There are the Old Guard wineries who forged their way into grapegrowing in this remote corner of Australia, and indeed the world. They are Vasse Felix (1967), Moss Wood (1969), Cape Mentelle (1970), Cullen (1971), Sandalford (1972), Leeuwin Estate, Woodlands and Wrights (1973). These wineries paved the way for many others, and to this day there are new brands starting their journey in this special place. The region now boasts a myriad of producers, from boutique to big. Due to the martime climate and ability to ripen a wide range of varieties, we also boast an impressive portfolio of cultivars and wine styles. There truly is a wine for every palate and a winery to suit every person's preferences in Margaret River.
