Meet Your Guide
Hi, my name is Leah Clearwater and I've been in the Margaret River wine region for 20 years. Starting my career in wine production 28 years ago, I've had the pleasure of working in roles across the wine industry, including winemaking, vineyard consulting, sales & marketing and business management. Along with a PhD in Viticulture and Oenology, I have taught University-level courses and been an instructor in a range of vocational training programs.
With my academic history and hands-on experience, I aim to provide content that is authentic and insightful, and never boring.
Launching in January 2025
The first official courses under the Margaret River Wine Academy will be available for booking in January 2025. The courses will be hosted in a number of locations throughout the region, including wineries and visitors centres.
